Researchers: Weak Security Defaults Enabled Squarespace Domains Hijacks
Krebs on Security
Squarespace domain hijacks between July 9-12 targeted several cryptocurrency businesses by exploiting weak security defaults in migrated Google Domains accounts.
Attackers were able to take control of domains by registering email addresses associated with unregistered accounts, bypassing email verification and leveraging incomplete account setups.
Security experts recommend enabling multi-factor authentication, removing unnecessary user accounts, and disabling reseller access to secure Squarespace and Google Workspace accounts.

XREAL Beam Pro aims to offer an Apple Vision Pro-like experience with AR glasses, but faces compatibility and power consumption challenges.
The Beam Pro, starting at $199, features a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and multiple display modes, but its design and audio quality have limitations.
Despite impressive features like 3D spatial video recording and a haptic keyboard, the Beam Pro's reliance on additional devices and limited content may not appeal to the average consumer.
