Reddit Blocks Microsoft From Searching Site Without Paying
By Aisha Counts via Bloomberg
Reddit Inc. is blocking Microsoft and other search engines from accessing its site without commercial agreements.
CEO Steve Huffman emphasizes the need to protect Reddit's data from being scraped or resold.
This policy change, effective last month, ensures only authorized crawlers with formal agreements can access Reddit's content.

Microsoft and Discord are enhancing integration on Xbox consoles, allowing users to watch friends' streams directly from the dashboard.
Xbox Insiders get early access to this feature, which integrates stream viewing into Discord voice calls and the "happening now" section on Xbox.
The update also improves Discord-to-Xbox communication, enabling direct calls and better visibility of mutual servers and friends.

Google Maps announces new features and somehow none of them are 'pause navigation'
By Sean O'Kane via TechCrunch
Google Maps introduces new features for reporting construction, lane closures, and police presence, and highlights destinations and parking more clearly.
Despite user requests, Google Maps still lacks a pause navigation feature for mid-trip stops.
Alternatives suggested by Google include using waypoints or restarting navigation after a detour, though these add extra steps for drivers.

By Andrew Romero via 9to5Google

The update includes a refined in-app browser that allows users to minimize and save their progress, improving multitasking capabilities.
These changes are rolling out today and are available for free, not restricted to Telegram's premium tier.
